Extremely reliable and respectful support
I’ve been with Nexus Ability Care for a few months now for personal care and community access around Werribee and Point Cook. My support worker is always on time, super respectful, and actually takes the time to listen to how I like things done. Having a consistent worker has made a huge difference to my daily routine.

A breath of fresh air for our family
Finding the right NDIS provider for my brother in Truganina was stressful until we spoke to Nexus. They sat down with us, went through his plan without any jargon, and matched him with workers who share his interests. Communication with the office is seamless, you actually get through to someone who knows who you are.

No hidden surprises or admin headaches
What I appreciate most about Nexus Ability Care is their transparency. Everything in the service agreement was clearly explained upfront according to NDIS price caps, so there were no surprises on invoices. Honest, professional, and easy to deal with.

Questions people ask us.
Do I need an NDIS plan?
To use NDIS funding, yes. We support self-managed, plan-managed and NDIA-managed participants. If you're not sure what your plan covers, call us and we'll go through it with you.
What does it cost?
Supports are paid from your NDIS plan, in line with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits. Before anything starts, we set out your supports and prices in a service agreement for you to approve.
What's in the service agreement?
Your supports, when they happen and what they cost, how to change or end the agreement and the notice needed, and what happens in an emergency. We go through it with you, and you keep a signed copy.
Can I choose my support worker?
Yes, you have a say. We work with you and your family to match you with support workers who suit your needs and preferences.
How are your support workers checked and trained?
Before they work with you, every support worker holds an NDIS Worker Screening Check, a current first aid and CPR certificate, and training in manual handling and medication support. Nexus Ability Care also carries public liability insurance.
Which areas do you cover?
Melbourne and Victoria, anywhere within about two hours of the CBD. We don't currently cover rural areas further out.
Can someone contact you on my behalf?
Yes. Family members, carers and support coordinators are welcome to get in touch for you. Support coordinators can use our capacity check form.
